Born from friendship and conversation, Mansarda is
coloured by a love of books and Montenegro.
Mansarda is a joint publishing project by the Montenegrin studios Communication Studio Cassiopeia and Studio ribizla. They channel their vision into publications that show how a country’s identity can be discovered through colours, stories and symbols.
Mansarda’s publications connect generations and nurture authentic, creative work inspired by the very best of what Montenegro has and represents.

Adrijana believes that a high-quality publication is not simply a product, but a space where a good idea, a clear message and attention to detail come together.
Ana Pajović
Ana Pajović is a graphic designer and co-founder of Mansarda – a publishing attic from Montenegro. As the owner and Creative Director of Studio ribizla., she shapes Mansarda’s visual identity – from covers and illustrations to the brand and the overall visual language through which Mansarda’s publications reach readers.
Ana has been running Studio ribizla. since 2017, building a reputation for high-quality work, attention to detail and reliable client service. Her career in graphic design spans two decades and includes roles as a graphic designer at Fleka studio and as creative studio manager at Promotion, where she led design initiatives and delivered complex creative projects. Ana’s expertise covers visual identity, brand design and print production processes.
At Mansarda, Ana shapes the way stories about Montenegro become visible – through illustration, typography, colour and the structure of each publication. She pays particular attention to detail, to the way a story is conveyed through imagery, and to ensuring that every edition retains the warmth, authenticity and character of the subject from which it was created.
At the end of 2020, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, she developed three Wonderful Montenegro memory games – Butterflies, Birds and Mammals of Montenegro – which became a cornerstone of the idea from which Mansarda grew.
She graduated from the University of Montenegro. Alongside design, she is passionate about photography and is dedicated to writing and researching history.
For Ana, a creative product has true value when, beyond looking beautiful, it carries a story and inspires curiosity, play or emotion.
Our Mission
We believe that a country’s identity and brand are shaped by far more than its official symbols – its coat of arms and flag. They are shaped by the stories told about it, the language used to tell those stories, the colours by which it is remembered and the values its people share.
Through our work, we want to contribute to building the brand of Montenegro – thoughtfully, one publication at a time. Conscious that we have inherited a legacy entrusted to our care, we feel a responsibility to interpret it thoughtfully and pass it on with care.
Through our print and digital publications, we preserve and bring closer Montenegro’s identity, cultural heritage and natural beauty. At the same time, we create space for important social themes – gender equality, diversity, humanity and a responsible relationship with nature. We believe creative publications can become a space where children and adults learn, reflect, talk and form their own views.
Every Mansarda publication is created with the intention of leaving a mark: as a book we return to, a game that brings the family together, a digital edition through which children and adults discover Montenegro, a keepsake we treasure, or a small object that brings greater meaning to everyday life.
