I snažna i važna (Strong & Important) is an original personal development book for women, with colouring elements, by Adrijana Husić and Lidija Ivanović. It is designed for women seeking space to pause, reflect, create and find encouragement.

Through 25 landscapes from all 25 municipalities of Montenegro, from the northern mountains to the southern coast, the book brings together original illustrations by Monika Lang, short stories and psychological permissions. Each place carries its own story, and each story offers a permission – a reminder of what we can allow ourselves to do: to feel, to pause, to choose, or simply to be ourselves.

The concept of psychological permissions draws on transactional analysis and the work of authors Gysa Jaoui and Pearl Drego. The book, however, was not shaped by theory alone. It also grew from the authors’ personal experiences, numerous conversations, and the openly shared questions and dilemmas of more than thirty women of different generations and with different life stories.

I snažna i važna is more than a book; it is a space you can return to at your own pace – for rest, reflection, creativity and encouragement. You can colour its pages, read them, write in them, or simply return to them whenever you need to.

As you travel through Montenegro, you also explore yourself, connecting the dots of a new constellation that belongs only to you.

Who is the book for? – The book is intended for adult women who want to pause, listen to themselves and explore themes of personal development through stories, questions, illustrations and colouring. It can be read from beginning to end or revisited according to your own rhythm and what you need at a particular moment.
