Biogradska Gora, one of Europe’s last virgin forests and one of Montenegro’s most precious natural jewels, now has its own educational game. Miraculous World of Biogradska Gora is a new memory game for children, parents, schools, and everyone who believes learning about nature should be inspiring, fun, and open to all.
Across 20 pairs of cards featuring carefully chosen plant and animal species from Biogradska Gora and its surroundings, the game invites players to explore, reflect, and connect with nature. From the brown bear and the grey wolf, through the rare wulfenia and the Apollo butterfly, to the tawny owl and the otter — every card carries knowledge, a story and a call to protect the environment.
“With the Miraculous World of Biogradska Gora memory game, children and adults have the chance to get to know the fascinating creatures of this special area, which has been a national park since 1952. Through play, we’ll have fun and remind ourselves how important it is to protect nature, to explore the forest and its surroundings, and to learn to care for the environment,” said Ana Pajović of Studio ribizla, the studio behind the latest edition in the memory-game series brought together under the creative project Miraculous Montenegro on the Mansarda.Me platform.
About the Miraculous World of Biogradska Gora memory game
The memory game is the second in a series that brings the beauty and importance of national parks closer to players, following last year’s edition, Miraculous World of Lake Skadar.
Miraculous World of Biogradska Gora is a memory game made up of 40 colour cards (20 pairs) with hand-made illustrations and a bilingual educational leaflet in Montenegrin and English, designed for 2–4 players aged 3+. But it is more than fun: it builds concentration, focus, and visual memory, while its carefully balanced mix of knowledge, aesthetics, and play brings the richness of one of Europe’s last virgin forests to children in the most natural way. Materials like these hold special value — from an early age, they teach the youngest to recognise, love, and protect the nature around them, turning learning about the environment into an experience that stays with them. That’s why it’s ideal for kindergartens, schools, families, gift shops and visitor centres, as a meaningful gift, a teaching aid, or something the whole family can gather around.
